STS-126 Endeavour Mission
| STS-126 Liftoff!
The
STS-126 mission stepped in front of the delayed
STS-125
to continue work on the International Space Station (ISS). This mission
will see the delivery of additional equipment that will enable
larger crews to live on board the ISS. You can read about Endeavour's
liftoff here. The crew (including returning and departing members) are as follows:
Commander: Christopher J. Fergus; Pilot: Eric A. Boe; Mission Specialists: Heidemarie M. Stefanyshyn-Piper, Donald R. Pettit, Stephen G. Bowen, Robert S. (Shane) Kimbrough;
MissionSpecialist/ISS Flight Engineer: Sandra H. Magnus (will stay aboard the ISS); Gregory Chamitoff (returning)
